“I’m proud to stand with Analilia Mejia and make sure NJ-11 stays blue.”
MONTCLAIR, NEW JERSEY – Obama White House alum, clean energy expert, and NJ-11 special primary election candidate Cammie Croft issued the following statement on the victory of Analilia Mejia in that race.
“I congratulate Analilia Mejia on her victory in the Democratic primary,” said Cammie Croft. “Analilia and her team ran a passionate, hard-fought campaign that energized voters and focused attention on what’s most important in this moment: defeating MAGA extremism.”
“This is a moment for Democrats to unite. No matter who you supported in the primary, we are aligned on what matters — stopping Trump’s abuse of power, taking back the House, and standing up for our democracy and working families. I’m proud to stand with Analilia Mejia and make sure NJ-11 stays blue. I’m ready to do my part to help Analilia and Democrats win in 2026, because unity is how we defeat extremism and move our country forward.”
ABOUT CAMMIE
Raised in a small railroad town, Cammie Croft was the first in her immediate family to graduate from college and has spent more than two decades in public service. Her Jersey mom–a woman who was raising four kids by the time she was 20–taught Cammie to be a fighter.
Cammie went from being a free-school-lunch kid to working in the Obama White House, helping pass the Affordable Care Act. She fought to expand human rights with Amnesty International and has always worked to ensure government delivers for working families.
Most recently, Cammie built a clean energy nonprofit from the ground up, helping families lower their energy bills nationwide. A mom of three raising her own family in Montclair, Cammie is running for Congress to lower costs and build a stronger, fairer economy for New Jersey families.
