Lower Costs for Families
From groceries to energy bills, costs are too damn high. Cammie will fight to put more money back in your pocket and make life affordable.
Because if you want something done, you give it to a busy mom.

From helping pass the Affordable Care Act in President Obama’s White House to building a national nonprofit that made clean energy affordable for Americans, Cammie knows how to take on big challenges and win. Now she’s running for Congress to lower costs, fight corruption, and bring a fresh, people-first approach to politics in Northern New Jersey.

Corruption is a hidden tax. Cammie will hold politicians and special interests accountable so your hard-earned money stays in your pocket, not theirs.
Build renewable energy fast to lower bills, create good jobs, and keep New Jersey’s power in the hands of its people — not big utilities.

I can’t begin to express how grateful I am to everyone who chose to be part of this journey. This campaign was an incredible, unexpected, and unforgettable experience – made possible by this community. Along the way, I was reminded again and again why I love calling Montclair home, and why this work matters so deeply.
While this wasn’t the outcome we hoped for, it is far from the end. I entered this race as an underdog with big ideas, limited name recognition, and an unshakable belief that our politics can be better. I leave it proud of what we built together: a campaign that exceeded expectations, challenged politics-as-usual, and proved there is real hunger for leadership rooted in care, integrity, and results. The work of fighting for our families, our neighbors, and a healthier political future continues – and together, I know we will keep moving it forward.
Thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, knocked doors in frigid temperatures, showed up to vote, and leaned in when it would have been easier not to. Your time, energy, and belief in this campaign – and in me – meant the world. And to our small but mighty team — Fiona, Margot, Caroline, Mia, and Michael – thank you for taking this leap with me. I’m endlessly proud of what we built together.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of this journey. I said from the beginning that I’m not a politician or a lobbyist, I’m a lifelong public servant who believes deeply in getting things done for the people and places we love. This campaign is a beginning, not a conclusion. I’m carrying what we built here into what comes next, stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever to keep showing up for our community.
Together, we’ll keep fighting for the future we know is possible.
With love and gratitude,
Cammie Croft
P.S. And yes — I still very much want to help us all save money on our energy bills. 😉
