MONTCLAIR, NJ — Congressional candidate Cammie Croft announced today that her campaign raised $187,726 in its first week, ending the quarter with $176,611.71 cash on hand — a powerful show of grassroots momentum in New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District.
Croft, a mom of three, public servant, and longtime advocate for working families, launched her campaign pledging to make life more affordable and politics more accountable for the people of Northern New Jersey.
“This early support is humbling and energizing,” Croft said. “It’s proof that families across New Jersey are ready for a new generation of leaders who will fight for them. Every dollar represents someone who believes we can bring costs down, clean up corruption, and deliver results for working people. Under the Trump Republicans, it’s getting harder for folks to keep up, and Washington is just making it worse. The political status quo just isn’t working for us, and this momentum shows that New Jerseyans are ready to fight back — and to fight for a vision that truly serves the people.”
A former Obama White House staffer who helped pass the Affordable Care Act, Croft has spent her career building solutions that make life better for families — from expanding access to affordable health care to leading a national nonprofit that helped households across the country access cleaner, cheaper home energy.
Croft’s campaign will build on the strong foundation laid by Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill, who is now running for governor with Croft’s full support.
